Entry #1
[She glances around, baring her teeth. She isn't used to the scent of this place. Honestly, she doesn't even know where she is. She searches the room but there's nothing that gives her a clue. She spots a journal on the table next to her bed and flips it open curiously. The pages are unfamiliar, although she recognizes what it is meant for. There are buttons and she presses one to see what will happen. Her voice is low and lilting with an odd roughness to it.]
This is different from the journals I've seen. I'm not sure what it is. I can feel in my bones that the pack isn't here. It feels horrible. I've lost so many families.
[She lets out a low whine and sighs.]
But I suppose I'll have to deal with it. Pain is temporary and when your habitat changes, you have to adapt or die. I've gotten through it before and I will again. I'll scour every inch of this place and memorize it head to toe. I will know every rock and tree and blade of grass. It's hunt or be hunted; kill or be killed.
[There was a moment of silence before she spoke again.]
This is a game I intend to win.

Ah yes. Believe what you want, dear. I'll still love you all the same.
[She made sure her voice was as unstable as possible (which wasn't hard) and cold as an ice storm.]
no subject
Don't call me dear, worm -- lest you learn to regret it. I'm not your plaything.
[That much is automatic. Were all brats such as insufferable?]
no subject
Well, love, it seems as though you're becoming one.
[Audio --> Video]
[He switches to video. Admonishing a faceless voice was not how he did business.
And it showed -- the expression painted upon his face is one loaded in danger.]
Re: [Audio --> Video]
[She assumed it was the other button and pushed it. She grinned brightly and waved.]
If you're going to hate me, [Her smile fell and her face became threatening; voice cold.] I should at least know your name.
Hmph... [Albel rolled claret eyes, presenting an indifferent countenance.] And why don't you tell me who you are first?
Re: [Video]
[Her lips twisted into something between a smirk and a grin.]
no subject
[He really couldn't argue against that either way.]
Now speak.
no subject
My name is Faolan.
[At that, her face lit up. The smile was genuine but, to be honest, so were the ones before. She really loved drama.]
no subject
[Faolan?
What bizarre offworlder names.
Taking heed of her slightly disheveled appearance, Albel frowned. She looked anything but pampered.]
Are you a beggar child?
no subject
Everyone seems to think that but no. I'm from the forest.
no subject
[To be quite honest, it was difficult to swallow that. ”Coming from the forest” in his world commonly meant one was either a bastard child or looking for some sort of heimal suicide.]
...Well, at the very least, you aren't one of those spoiled little brats.

I hunted or stole.
[Faolan smirks softly.]
no subject
That's highly unlikely.

no subject
...What exactly are you, anyway?
no subject
Shape shifter- specifically wolf.
no subject
[And here he thought that was only saved for children's fables.]
no subject
Are you human?
no subject
I guarantee you've never heard of it.
no subject
If you're willing to tell me about it, feel free to.
